Appeared suddenly, out of nowhere
For both, it was a total surprise
With her shining eyes at me she stared
I was a foreigner, a stranger
I didn’t belong at this place
I could be in a mortal danger
For invading her sacred space

Are you a sentry of jungle Gods?
Who are you warning with your loud cries:
Chac-Mool, Kukulkan or Camazotz?
Let’s live in peace is my advice
So nobody’s get hurt
I am just a bird, black-feathered bird
With big and shining eyes!
