Standing On My Head Poetry

The book’s title is “Forty Four”. In the title on the cover, I flipped the second digit on its head. The number shouldn’t change its value when it is slanted, skewed or turned upside down, right? It is still four. Although, a computer will not be capable to read and interpret this number correctly… Captcha! The outward appearance of the digit, for a computer, defines its value. Since my poetry is meant for people, I do not care if a computer will not be able to read the book’s title.

All of the poems’ content is based on my personal experiences. There are a few exaggerations, of course. I either felt, imagined, dreamed or took part in the described events. The names of people are their real names.
